The Orie Developer
The Orie condominium is jointly developed by City Developments Ltd (CDL), Frasers Property, and Sekisui House.
In 1993, CDL began with eight employees working in a small Amber Mansions Office to buy and sell properties. The first listing of the Company on Malayan Stock Exchange was in November 1963. CDL has become a major developer of property in Singapore thanks to the aspirations of Mr Kwek.
Frasers Property built its first property, The Centrepoint, in 1980. The Centrepoint, a landmark on Singapore’s Orchard Road, was built in 1980. Frasers Property, a company that has been around since 1883, was subordinated to Fraser and Neave, Limited in 1990.
Sekisui House, founded in Japan 60 years ago, is one of the leading developers of residential properties around the globe. More than 2,000,000 homes have been built in various parts of the globe.
They are known for their diverse portfolio of property developments.
